Peter Wenger, MD
Orthopedic & Sports Injury Specialist
Dr. Peter C. Wenger is a non-operative Sports Medicine specialist who is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Wenger brings a unique approach to Sports Medicine care with his comprehensive understanding of Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Surgery. As a multisport athlete himself, he understands a patients’ desire to safely return to sport.
Dr. Wenger graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola College with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He attended and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Dr. Wenger then completed a surgical internship at Rush University, Chicago Ill and was promoted with highest honors. Dr. Wenger completed his residency in Family Medicine with an emphasis in Orthopedics at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey. Dr. Wenger completed his training at the University of Pittsburgh, Center for Sports Medicine where he graduated from the Shadyside hospital Sports Medicine Fellowship with distinguished honors.
Richard Levandowski, MD
Orthopedic Medicine/ Primary Care Medicine
Dr. Levandowski is a primary care Sports Medicine specialist who is board certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine.
He spent ten years as Team Physician and then Director of Athletic Medicine at Princeton University. He then became the Director of the Institute for Sports Medicine Institute where he started the Sports Medicine Fellowship that is now part of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Levandowski has been Team Physician at the Pan American Games, USA Track and Field at three World Athletics Championships, Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Haitian National Athletics Team and the Princeton Training Camps for the US Rowing Association. Dr. Levandowski is deeply proud of his long association with Special Olympics New Jersey and is honored to be named the Head Physician for the Special Olympics 2014 USA Games.
Cara Barlis, MD
Primary Care Medicine
Dr. Barlis believes in a patient centered approach to family medicine, involving patients in their own care through shared decision making.
Dr. Barlis serves as college health physician at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. She is responsible for the medical care of students who present to Health Services with medical illness, sports injuries, women’s and men’s health concerns, and preventive needs. She is also consulting physician to The Hun School of Princeton. In addition, Dr. Barlis provides medical services at sexually transmitted disease and immunization clinics offered by the Hamilton Township Health Department.
Dr. Barlis also offers women’s healthcare including contraception, menopause care, and management of osteoporosis. Her patients range in age from adolescents to senior citizens. Dr. Barlis recognizes that mental, emotional and physical wellbeing are interrelated.
Jennifer Lhost, MD
Dr. Jennifer Lhost is a primary care sports medicine specialist with board certifications in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. She was born and raised in Wisconsin where she attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison for both her undergraduate and medical studies.
In clinic, she sees the full range of sports medicine concerns and conditions. During her career, she has worked with patients from 9 months to 90 years and across the full spectrum of physical activity from playground injuries to Quidditch to the NFL. She has a particular interest in concussion management in school aged children utilizing a team based approach to recovery which includes the athlete, parents, athletic trainers, teachers, and physical therapists.
Her clinical interests also include female athlete triad, growth plate injuries, and pre-participation exams for athletes with special needs or chronic health conditions.
Richard Kim, MD
Dr. Kim is a Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialist who is board certified in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Kim’s medical training focused on musculoskeletal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, neurologic and rheumatologic disease. He also specializes in peripheral joint injections, ultrasound, and spinal procedures. Dr. Kim served as chief resident and was the first recipient of the Deborah Brathwaite MD Award for Professionalism and Patient Care.
Dr. Kim then went on to complete his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He spent his year involved with and treating athletes from all over New Jersey. He treated a wide range of adult and adolescent musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related concussions. His training heavily focused on diagnosing and treating of sports-related concussions.
Lauren Eisenhauer, APN
Lauren is dedicated to consulting current clinical practice guidelines, providing evidence-based care, and collaborating with her interdisciplinary partners to ensure the best treatment for her patients. She believes optimal health outcomes are the result of strong patient-provider relationships, education, and shared decision-making.
Lauren provides care for patients across the lifespan, from adolescents to senior citizens. She provides Annual Wellness Exams, and treats a variety of primary care illnesses, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, dermatological concerns, musculoskeletal problems, sexually-transmitted diseases, and mental health disorders. Lauren also offers women’s health care, including Annual Well Woman Exams, birth control counseling, breast exams, gynecological problems, and peri-menopause counseling.
