This was a "wellness" check up in place if my annual physical. Although i called in late summer to schedule my annual physical with Dr. Barlis, she had no availability for several months. So to stay on schedule, I set my appointment for a mere two months out, with a nurse practitioner. While I liked her, I felt the appointment was cursory. A vision test was unnecessary and far less thorough and professionsl than the exam I'd just had a month previous with my ophthalmologist, a specialist. The whole appointment seemed to be about safety at home and mental well being. I did get a pneumonia vaccine, which was due. So that was a good thing.
